Ten Penguin Random House nominations at the Audie Awards


Last week the American Audio Publishers Association announced their list of nominees for their prestigious annual Audie Awards. Often referred to as the Oscars of the audiobook world, the awards recognise distinction in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment.

Penguin Random House Audio have received a total of ten nominations across six different categories, with two recordings being produced and recorded here in the UK – The Tale of Kitty In Boots narrated by Helen Mirren and Sleeping Giants narrated by a full cast.

Adnan’s Story written and narrated by Rabia Chaudry

Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, narrated by Dion Graham

The Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee, narrated by Dennis Boutsikaris

Science Fiction

Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel, narrated by a full cast

Star Wars: The Force Awakens by Alan Dean Foster, narrated by Marc Thompson

Trhiller/Suspense

Home by Harlan Coben, narrated by Steven Weber

Cross Justice by James Patterson, narrated by Ruben Santiago Hudson and Jefferson Mays

Young Listeners (up to age 8)

The Tale of Kitty-in-Boots by Beatrix Potter, narrated by Helen Mirren
