Penguin Ventures scoops Small Licensor Team of the Year at Licensing Biz People Award
Last night (Wednesday 21 June) Penguin Ventures were named "Small Licensor Team of the Year" at the Licensing Biz People Awards.
Penguin Ventures look after the licensing, consumer products, TV production, retail and live events strategies across the whole of Penguin Random House UK - and they work with a raft of innovative licensees and collaborate with first class partners in order to do just that. They represent a portfolio of iconic literary brands including Peter Rabbit, The Snowman, Ladybird Vintage Collection, Flower Fairies and Spot.
Some examples of their recent success stories include the Beatrix Potter 150th anniversary campaign, where a partnership with The Royal Mint saw literary characters appear on UK coins for the very first time, and The Snowman™ and The Snowdog™ Barbour Christmas campaign which won major critical acclaim.
Susan Bolsover, who heads up the Penguin Ventures team, was also shortlisted for Manager of the Year.
