A brief history of Corgi

Corgi was one of the UK’s original mass-market paperback houses when it launched in 1953 and is still one of the most pre-eminent and successful ever since. Initially known for publishing seminal books such as Nabokov’s Lolita and Heller’s Catch 22 in paperback, Corgi became and remains known for major bestselling authors such as, among others, Dan Brown, Catherine Cookson, Jilly Cooper, Frederick Forsyth, Robert Goddard, Andy McNab, Terry Pratchett and Danielle Steel.
