David Rohl holds a degree in Egyptology and Ancient History from University College London, where he was also awarded the W.F Masom History Research Scholarship. Rohl has excavated at Kadesh-on-the-Orontes with the expedition of the Institute of Archaeology. He co-founded and was Director of The Institute for the Study of Interdisciplinary Studies (ISIS), until its dissolution in 2005. He was the writer and presenter of the internationally acclaimed television documentary series Pharaohs and Kings: A Biblical Quest. Rohl is Britain's leading Egyptologist and currently lives in Spain.

David Rohl is the author of three best-selling books: A Test of Time, Legend and The Lost Testament which have been published in nine different languages. David also presented the internationally acclaimed television series 'Pharaohs and Kings' and the documentary 'In Search of Eden'. He is currently completing another archaeological series entitled 'The Egyptian Genesis' dealing with the origins of Egyptian civilisation. David is Director of the Eastern Desert Survey, responsible for recording the rock-art of Egypt's desert mountains between the Nile Valley and Red Sea. He is the organiser of 'Legend Conferences' in the UK and Egypt, as well as giving lectures around the world.

By employing the same basic methodologies used to establish the currently accepted chronology, it has been possible for a group of young archaeologists, including David Rohl, to create a New Chronology which resolves many of the problems permeating ancient world studies. In particular, one model has been developed which has major implications for Old Testament research. David holds a University College London degree in Egyptology and Ancient History, and has excavated at Kadesh-on-the-Orontes with the expedition of the Institute of Archaeology. He is currently the Archaeology Correspondent for The Express newspaper, Chairman of the Institute for the Study of Interdisciplinary Sciences and President of the Sussex Egyptology Society.
