All the Best for the Future

Growing Up Without Growing Old

About Greg James

I can’t believe they make you write your own author biographies that you then have to compose in the third person to pretend someone else did it. This whole industry is a sham! Anyway, hello. I am Greg James and I like to think of myself as a celebrated radio presenter, author and legend. You or your kids might have read one of my children’s books. Chances are either Kid Normal or The Twits Next Door as they’re the ones that sold well. You might have seen me faffing about online, or on Bake Off and that sort of thing. If not, you might well have heard me on Radio 1. I’ve been there since 2007 and on the prestigious Breakfast Show since 2018. If you are a breakfast listener, it was a pleasure to pandemic with you. Thanks for getting me through it. As well as all this, I also host many podcasts. Some might say too many. Hellooooo! to any Tailenders who have picked up this book. I’m sure you’ll enjoy all the cricket references and to the listeners of my F1 podcast 'The Fast and the Curious', there’s a big nerdy chapter about cars to keep you happy.

If you’re new to me, welcome. As you can probably deduce from the above, I’ve made all my hobbies and interests into work therefore I’ve made my dog Barney into a major part of my personality. Speaking of which, he needs to go for a walk so I’ve got to wrap this up.

Oh, and they always put a bit about where the author lives at the end of this don’t they. Why? Who cares?! Greg James lives with his wife Bella Mackie (a much more successful and more talented author) and the aforementioned dog Barney (not yet an author but it’s only a matter of time) in a house somewhere in world.
