TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
  2. This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoters, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
  3. Entries must be received by 23:59 BST on 10th June 2025. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoters by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of the Promoters and are not returned.
  4. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.

  6. All valid and correctly completed entries received by the closing date will be entered into a prize draw which will take place within 3 working days of the competition closing. The first name drawn at random will be the winner.
  7. The prize is five tickets for a family at Thorpe Park, with £200 to spend on travel costs. One prize package for one winner. The prize package consists of five (5) one-day theme park entry tickets to Thorpe Park valid for one use on or before 31st October 2025.
  8. Unless specified in the prize details, the prize does not include any other expenses incurred by the winner and/or their guest/s whilst at Thorpe Park, including but not limited to food and beverage, retail and any other costs incurred.
  9. Prizes are subject to availability. Not exchangeable for cash and not transferable. Delivery to UK addresses only. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoters reserves the right (a) to substitute an alternative prize of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The winner will be notified via email by 23:59 BST on 31st July 2025. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of the Promoters sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse, and the Promoters reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
  11. By entering this competition, all entrants agree to the use of their personal data by the Promoters for the purposes of running the competition as detailed in these terms and conditions.   12. We will make the winner’s name and county available on request to the following email address: CHalstead1@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk (please state the name of the competition in the subject heading 10 weeks after the closing date). If you do not want your name and county to be made available in the event that you win, please let us know by emailing CHalstead1@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.
  13. The promoters may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoters’ opinion) or who, in Promoters’ sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoters.
  14. In the event the winner does not for any reason take the prize before the validity end date, then that entire prize package will be forfeited by the winner and cash or any other form of compensation will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.
  15. If for any reason a prize is not available, Thorpe Park reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

  17. Please check Thorpe Park opening dates and times before travelling.
  18. Penguin and Thorpe Park’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  19. Merlin Entertainments reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason.
